A Festival of Maltese Wine

The Marsovin Summer Wine Festival is practically a stone throw away, being held on the 18th,19th & 20th July with all preparations set to give way to this seventh edition – 2014. It is the time of the year when Marsovin invites everyone to celebrate the Culture of wine by having all our wines showcased into one venue and accompanied by the best local musical talent on the island.

As a thank you for your loyalty we are giving away 3 complimentary wine tokens to each club member. We will be setting up an exclusive Clubmarsovin fast track system which allows all clubmembers to skip the queue, so please look out for the signage indicating this. Once inside all you need to do is look for the Clubmarsovin booth located on the right hand side after the main entrance. You will be asked to present your club membership card and I.D. card, so please make sure you bring both cards along.

Music line-up:
A few of the artists in this year’s line-up include Malta’s leading bands: Tribali, who will be performing a series of improvised jams; Red Electrick, giving an unplugged acoustic set; Airport Impressions, one of the most successful bands to have emerged locally in recent years; The Creepers, a cutting edge vintage blues band; & The New Victorians, a sister duo who are sure to strike listeners with their quirky antifolk style and uplifting harmonies, and more. Live acts and chill out music are amongst other attractions that we have lined up for each night of this special event

Marsovin has engaged various restaurants and caterers, to show case their cuisine offering a small but enticing selection of dishes at very reasonable prices. Renowned Asian fusion restaurant – Temptasian will be manning a sushi bar, New York Best – will be offering freshly made pizza on site; Chukkas Grill will be grilling a variety of meats, James Caterers will be cooking a variety of freshly made pasta and last but not least Bezzina’s will be preparing an array of mouthwatering traditional Maltese dishes.

How does it work?
All those attending the wine festival will benefit from a special offer of a €15 token fee which includes a premium festival wine glass to take home and €15 worth of wine tokens, with which one can either taste up to 20 different wines or drink a selection of wines by the glass or by the bottle. Alternatively for those who are not wine drinkers but still want to mingle around and enjoy the live entertainment, a variety of non-alcoholic refreshments will also be available for sale.
