The Mdina Medieval Festival is an annual event held in Malta’s medieval capital.
During the two days of the Festival, the streets and squares of Mdina come alive with re-enactments of scenes from medieval times, like the town crier, a slave market, a medieval kitchen, sword fighting, archery, and medieval tavern. There are also battles and skirmishes, magic shows, live music, falconry displays, parades, flag throwing shows, and much more.
Museums, churches and other historic places are open to all visitors on this weekend.
The Festival will be held between April 18th till April 19th 2015.
