Hotel Kennedy Nova is once again hosting it’s popular Easter Buffet Lunch. This year’s menu will include staple, traditional dishes such as the slow-cooked lamb shanks with a touch of mint. Guests will be welcomed by a mouth-watering selection of antipasti that include cured meats, seafood and grilled vegetables amongst others. The first course in this year’s buffet is the Chef’s own cream of red capsicum. Topped with croutons, this soup is the ideal entrée. Following is a selection of Italian pasta dishes that include pennette with seafood and fusilli tossed in cream and smoked pancetta.
As you queue for the carver section, expect to be served a succulent roasted pork stuffed with dried fruit, and spicy Maltese sausage.
As for main course, patrons will be greeted by a generous selection of all-time favourites amongst which the chicken supreme, poached dentici, tartlets with feta cheese and sundried tomatoes, and the traditional Easter lamb. All accompanied by fresh, local vegetables.
Desert is not just a feat for your eyes! Following the much requested cheese selection, you may indulge in an assortment of home-made flans, gateaux, tarts and traditional Figolla.
